Considering how many places aren't using the "Wireless N" standard (did that finally get ratified into the new standard, or is the draft just near finalization), you wouldn't notice the speed boost much, if at all, because no one's using that type of connection speed, all the free WiFi places I know are 802.11g, or a couple of old 802.11b.

On the plus side, $2 to unlock that capability isn't too bad, and its nice to know they put in pre-N cards. Just my two cents...sorry I don't have a MacBook to help you with this any further.

Wow, Keith! I so want one of those, but if it means ripping my existing Wii apart, I think I'll wait till Wiis are plentiful in stock and I have extra cash to sink in on modding one.

I hope you're feeling better man, I've had strep numerous times, and its never fun! Call/e-mail me if you need anything!

Count me in on wanting the Apple iPhone! I watched a great clip of it in action this morning, and I was truly blown away by it. I'm not too surprised by the battery life though... most average cell phones only allow between 120-250 minutes of talk time (about 2-4 hours), keeping in mind that doesn't count the amount of time the device can be in stand-by mode where it essentially stays on, but does nothing until you press a key or an incoming signal wakes up the phone.

I Hate Cingular (fewest dropped calls my ass...only because one can never complete an outbound or receive an inbound call, at least in this neck of the market), but perhaps this is only the tip of the ice-burg, and we'll soon see the Apple iPhone on major carriers like Verizon. Otherwise, I might have to think of switching to the darkside when the Apple iPhones come out...providing any of us can afford them :)

- Bryan

P.S. You Scooped me on blogging about this first Keith.

What a really good idea Keith! I think this will be a good resource for anyone interested in taking an educational technology class. It will demonstrate how diverse the field really is, and it will make it much easier for us all to view each other's final products.

On another note, I am so impressed with your game. It was really entertaining and informative. I think it will really appeal to kids and make learning FCAT content more interesting. Good job!

-Brooke :)

I would be happy to post mine, especially since I need all the help I can get to get it published:) If we don't do the wiki, I would be happy to send it to you if you want? Let me know tomorrow in class:) See you then!

Kathryn

Sorry for the delay on getting together on the letter, Keith. We can definitely talk about our Letter tonight before class, or anytime else you would like. With life more or less back on track for me, I'm ready when you are.
