One of the most exciting things I learned this week was how well the subscriptions on delicious works. Bloglines is so much fun to use to look at all of the work the class has been posting on, but I was especially excited today when I logged in and saw that there were 31 websites listed in my UFET subscription. Everything from digital photos to webxact info to webquests were listed. What a great way to share with others that are interested!
As for my final paper. I appreciated some of the comments that I was given on it. It was just a rough draft (where I had three other papers, two powerpoints, a couple of postings and a whole bunch of pictures to take in the same weekend) so obviously I wasn’t expecting anything close to perfection from it. The next draft is coming along better especially since I’ve added a whole bunch of information from a few chapters that were added after the edition that I read based entirely on technology and media. I hope to post that by Wednesday so I can get some feedback before it’s due on Sunday.
My only other comment for this week is that I really should not have taken three summer classes at the same time! ^_^

Ooooo, how I feel your pain. You know I took three classes last semester, taught six at the high school and tried to fit in a workout at some point in the week. I can fell your frustration and angst. However, this, too, shall pass and all the people who tell you that…well, they’ll pass, too when you smack them for telling you that.
Good luck. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Good grief, you are busy. I mentioned to one of the professors that I was thinking about doing that and they warned me that I was insane. We’ll see, as I’m scheduled to do it in the fall.
I’d definitely like to see your updated draft, as your paper had potential, but still had a long way to go, and now I see why. I’m not a huge Gardner fan, but then again, I’m really very skeptical about most things. I agree with the fact that specific people have different areas where they’re talented, but I fail to see the significance of it as the humongous theory that it is seen as. My 2 year old says I need to stop posting, so best of luck.

Hi Keith – We typically do not allow students to take 3 classes at the same time. Sorry we missed this one during registration because three is WAY too many!! At least you’ll be primed for the Fall when you’ll be busy with your assistantship and clases.
The de.licio.us feeds can be very useful esp. if a group of educators decides on a tagging system in advance.

Hey Keith,
I know what you mean about having three classes. Each of mine is about to end on the same day. I think I’m going to throw a big party when I finish. Unfortunately everyone in my classes will finish “in class” while I will still be chugging away at my computer through the weekend with all likelihood. I just wanted you to know that I feel your pain and will share your joy in the coming weeks.
